Light too close/too far ?

That light is only 100 watts. You should be OK at that distance but I would keep an eye on the plant for stretching. If it does stretch don't be afraid to lower the light. Modern, white LED's produce light over a broad area and don't produce much heat so I've found you can go closer, sometimes much closer than many recommend. But, always pay attention to what your plant is telling you.

I never used LED. But I think you can put the light closer to the plant IF you can scale the power output of the light.
