Yeah, you can remove those leaves, it's called defoliation when you remove leaves that are blocking new growth.

Too many colas? (Serious)I'm scared that I have too many colas. I have to continuously trim leaves to avoid humidity hotspots. The internodal distance is super short. Defoliate or not yet?The breeder (AutoSeeds) says they work better if you don't LST to much and focus on the main cola. Should I select a few of the large leaves and defoliate them to get more light in the middle. Just don't want to pick the wrong ones. Hope I have enough images to help you help me.

Trimming around buds pre week 14I’m wondering.. should I be trimming the leaves around the buds so the buds get more light? It just occurred to me that I don’t see all those leaves on other diaries? Should I do a pre harvest defoliation a week before harvest?What are the benefits and consequences of defoliating a week before harvest? Is it good or bad? I have tons of foliage up top and need it to go away. It's too late in flower, but a week before will open up the canopy to the lower bud sites. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks!

LOOSE THE LEAVES or LEAVE HER ALONEI believe they are just finishing up the early flower stretch. Do u think i should do more thinning on the Bruce Banner(right) or leave her as is? Day 46 from sprout, 22 days from first pistil hairs. Any thoughts on how they look or possible yeild? I have no grows to compare too

Check out this long reach, back of tent, 2-in-1 leaf cutter/remover I made. Just a lazy man grabber tool, magnets and razor blade...
I was gonna drill a hole and mini bolt it threw but the grabber came with a magnet. Just added a couple more and it’s strong enough to make cuts.
