She looks done to me. Trichomes are white pistols orange.. She is at 54 days., consensus is 66 days or so... I know it’s a hybrid but I’d rather the sativa side before the indica kicks in.. Should I harvest or will this things produce more white before orange? Its bursting now

Not likely after 7 or 8 weeks of flower on a 50/50 hybrid. You probably have at least 2 weeks left. Get a jeweler's loupe for like 8 bucks or a wifi microscope for like 40 bucks and find out for sure.

Harvesting while there are still a few white pistils, 5% or so, will give you a mind trip sativa type high and not a heavy and sleepy indica stone. Trichomes do not rust, amber trichomes are a result of polymerization and a thickening/hardening of the resins. If all the pistils have already browned off, harvesting when there are mostly milky and/or clear trichomes will give you the type of high you seek, but don't wait much longer, and if this is the case (all brown pistils), THC is breaking down into CBD and CBN, which gives the sleepy stone. My last bit of advice is to follow your "intuition", if it looks ready to you, it probably is. Hope this helps,.......... Organoman.

hey there Joey, if all your pistils are white, that means you reached max potency, the harvest is therefore now. If you have any clear trichomes, it's better to keep waiting, these have to start getting cloudy before the chop. Any amber means the membrane of the trichome got damaged and then oxydised (rust) , so it's mostly best not to wait for that to happen anyway. So if you're all milky, no clear , few ambers, you're at the perfect time for a harvest. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi there, here’s my rule of thumb for harvesting period.During that time, the leaves will show deficiencies, yellowing and most of the white pistils become orange. The best method is using 60x microscope and check trichomes colour on buds.If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour, it’s the time to harvest.Flushing or not flushing is your choice.Happy growing... ✌️

If your after a sativa high then harvesting with more cloudy to amber trichomes will give you that affect. The longer you wait the more the trichomes amber up. Like mentioned its best to pick up something you can use to get a real close look at the trichomes. 🌱✌️🏼
