I topped on day 18 from seed. You can check out my Cap'n style grow. Couple pictures there. Topping is fairly easy and lots of literature online. Good luck.

Topping Never topped plants before, this is my first time growing and with the tight spacing of the nodes might have damaged the little growth in the crotch when I cut... Should I be ok or did I potentially damage the yield potential? Should be able to zoom in on last few pics of week 3

Topping at two weeks?I wonder what the effect of topping so early will have? Week two is pretty unconventional, with most preferring 3-5 weeks. She seems pretty happy though. Hopefully this will give maximum uninterrupted ( minus of course the LST ) veg time now.

Are those nutrient defficiencies? Which ones?A plant had interveinal chlorosis on new leaves and then proceeded to show brown patches between veins on middle leaves. Another has coppery brown spots on leaf edges on the middle of the plant. Both were rootbound in living soil (peat/perlite/hummus + ammendments).

Which node is number 1 When counting nodes for the first topping, which node is number 1? The cotyledons? First single serrated leaf? 1st 3 fingered leaf? I'm counting pairs of leaves as those are where the nodes are, just not sure which to count as number 1. Personally, i say first 3 fingered leaf
