Sure, coose any lighthours between 18 and 24...... they are recommended to grow under at least 18 Hours of Light. some Growers let them run uner 24 hours but in my opinion, everyone has toget a rest, plants too. So keep on growing

Yes, electric bills. In the past, I had to decrease it to 18/6 to reduce the cost and it worked.No loss in yields.

I have never heard of a benefit of changing the light cycle mid grow if the plant is behaving like a normal auto. Changing to a 12/12 schedule is recommended if you have an auto that is not flowering so you grow it like a photoperiod plant.
