Seedlings don't need alot of light. You could use a low powered florescent light. I start my veg plants at 20 inches and back off or move closer depending on what the plants say. Same with flower cycle.

Vegetative growth poor sunlightHey time grower here. started growing some seeds i found in some weed i had, plants already on soil on the first stage of vegetative growth but on my backyard i only have 8-9 hours of direct sunlight, will this work for a good vegeative growth? i know they need 18h at least :c

My grow tent is sitting in my basement, which normally sits at 10C in the winter, so I set the heat in the room to 18C and the LED and 2 fans heat it to 20.4C in the tent.
Anyone have a similar setup but using their grow lights as a heat source? Heating a basement is expensive.

How to switch to floweringIt's been about 5 weeks from germination. I think we're ready to switch to flowering. I'm just not certain on how to go about it. Do I gradually reduce 18/6 of the veg light down to 12/12 (over a week?) then pop in the flower bulb? Or do I just make a hard switch?Week 4

Which lightSo I’m a new grower and I have the mars ts600 for flower and veg but I’m looking at getting some more power when in flower. I dunno whether to get another of the same light which is 100w or go for the mars ts1000 with is 150w but with both ts600 I would be pulling 200w together

How to reveg plants after preflowers by the end of april outdoors?How big are the chances to bounce the plants back to veg after preflowers by the end of april and 14h of day length? Is your machine helper leaking light?Everyone has their ACs and dehumidifiers and whatnot machines in the grow space. Are you covering every little light of those machines in the flowering chamber? Many hermies will be avoided with some aluminium tape. Stay safe, cover those lights and grow ganja!
