Ive begun my first grow using sunlight as its good weather in the uk If and when the weather does change I feel like I need to have a light solution ready! I have around 15m of RGB LED strip and access to most standard light bulbs. Do they have any chance? Sorry if stupid questio

screw in led bulbs, can do a great job, I know, I use them. Just keep in mind that you need between 30 to 40 watts of led per sq ft of grow space.

The weather will change were in the UK. sunlight is great but not enough hours at the mo so you need to boost up the hours with your leds. course they have a chance go for it pick a simple nutrient regime so that does not mess you up

I've had decent success with fluorescent bulbs in the past. Not ideal, but 2-3 fluoros will work. Incandescent bulbs will not work, but standard LED bulbs may work (never tried them myself). Good luck!

what is correct light schedule for indoor germination and seedling, and then transplant outdoors?I plan to grow a photoperiod plant outdoors from spring to fall, but the germination and seedling stages will be done indoors. For the indoor part, can I use a setup with 18 hour light schedule? Or should it be 12 hours? I don't want to trigger flowering when I put it outside.

Downgrade my light wattage or not?My tent is 80cm x 80cm x 180cm and i use a 400w hps/mh. Based on all light calculations i came across it gives me a total requirements of light of around 160-200 watts. Should i downgrade to a 250w system or keep the 400w and why please, some expert ? Thx

This is my first grow, currently in veg wk 5, using 8 x 6500K, 4’ T5HO. Flipping to flower in 2-3 wks, will use 4 x 3000K tubes and planning to get 4 AgroMax Pure Bloom tubes. Is 50/50 mix of 3000K and Pure Bloom a good combination of light?
