How do I reduce humidity, when growing outdoors in pots. Currently when I know it's going to rain, I pull them inside under the led if they're in flower. My wife just hates that.

so the easiest way I can think of would be for you to build some sort of shelter for them. I know in the uk you can buy a grow tent that you would grow tomatoes in. get yourself a tray that fits the bottom so that or on top of gravel, something that's going to be a layer between a humid floor and your pots, this way your plants can still be outdoors and you stay in your wife's good books. The only thing with an outdoor grow tent may be that the heat in the tent may make it humid, if you can try and get one with an open bottom so that the humidity can escape. but trying to keep a good barrier around the edge of the outside so you don't let moisture in. hope that helps and good luck.

Hi mate you cannot really reduce humidity in the outdoors although an electric fan blowing constantly on the plant can help wonders As for the wife ................ No comment that shit can get you in the dog house 😂😅

Your at the mercy of mother nature and your wife. Your best bet is to stick with mildew resistant varieties. Indica dominant strains tend to fit this profile. Keep plants in areas with the best air circulation. Timing your grows to bloom during the drier times of year can also help. Budding in high temperatures and high humidity typically results in looser density bud. Your technique of bringing them inside during critical bud development and trichome production times will definately make for more potent weed. Biggest issue of bringing plants in from outside is bringing in bugs(This is what's really in your wife's thoughts) with the plant which your wife will banish your plants from the house forever. Keeping them off the ground will help prevent bugs from entering the pot. If all else fails bribery still works with women a nice romantic dinner every week will help you win her over. Best of luck

It's a difficult task but a fan or two circulating the air around the plant could help keep the humidity down in that area. If you can put the pot on a dry medium (rocks, sand, ect.) It will have a naturally drier climate as there is no moisture released from beneath. Large the area the drier it will be just think of a beach or a canyon If it's only temporary during storms could create a makeshift pop up tent with tarps and put a dehumidifier in there. Probably a fan as well. Unfortunately fighting mother nature is no easy task. Even us indoor growers struggle with humidity control and we have climate control all around it. Combating mother nature is no easy task. Best of luck
