Perfectly safe! I'd make room for the smaller leaves to get some light. Tucking the big leaves behind the smaller ones also gives very good results if you dont want to give her too much of a cutting. Hope this helps 🙂👍

She took a LONG time to get big enough to flip to flower. I grow in fabric pots and organic soil. I think I over watered in the beginning, but could I have also defoliated too much, too early? How do I know how much water and when? How much defoliation is too much?

#3 had seeds at harvest (5). I don't know if she is a hermi or if one of my other plants is, or if my other plants were pollinated and I didn't notice. She did have a big injury earlier in the grow. Any ideas what happened? I'm so confused and disappointed!

Defoliation of bushy plant during week 1 flowering I flipped my girls to flower 5 days ago and been lightly defoliating the big one (top right) over the last 4 days (plucking lower fan leaves and those blocking bud sites from the light, about 10 leaves a session) Was it a bad move considering I already flipped to flower?
