Perfectly safe! I'd make room for the smaller leaves to get some light. Tucking the big leaves behind the smaller ones also gives very good results if you dont want to give her too much of a cutting.

If it's photoperiod, I think there’s no problem. If it's autoflowering, I usually don't cut leaves that are more than 50% damaged.

See photo above on day 27. Fan leaves are curling as well as new growth. She is in well drained good quality pitting mix. Weather had been both very hot and then cold and windy. Inititially tboygh she was over watered from rain but no change when dried out.

Did I over-defoliate these? Are they looking healthy for day 22 or so of flower?This is my first grow. I know my plants have a shape problem, I didn't know about LST during veg and wasn't taking it seriously (I tried to train one but it was too late as you can see). They had a very rough veg life but now they seem happy in stable conditions. How do I look?
