lolipoping or defoliate??

Hi there,only defoliate if there is a good reason.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many popcorn buds underneath.Other than those, shouldn’t do.Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants.Only recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.Later that period ,you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and let her grow happily until harvest.Defoliation or lollipopping at late flower stage could even lead to hermaphrodism.Happy Growing... ✌️

Hey mate, Week 3 is a good time to do it. Nothing to worry about you'll be fine. Just don't take to much as it will stress her and cause her to slow. Theres some really great videos on YouTube that will show you exactly how to do it. Watch one and you'll be able to do it with confidence. Light defoliating wont harm her and will increase airflow, benefiting her in the future. Shes looking great btw! Hope this helps 🙂

First off, looks like you’re doing awesome thus far. Great looking canopy. You’ll find both sides of the defoliation argument on here. There’s no right answer and you’ll only know if you try it for yourself. I personally almost always do some sort of lollipopping on my plants to give better air circulation beneath and focus the plants attention more on the top of the canopy. I usually also do some defoliating of fan leaves around week 3. This is a good time to do it because a majority of the stretching has taken place and bud sites are developed enough to see how she’ll develop into actual buds over the next few weeks. You can see in my blue dream DWC diary around week three I did a MAJOR defoliation and those buds turned out huge and amazing. You’ll end up with great results now matter what honestly given the way things look now.

If you are afraid to do it. There is no better time to do it. Live and learn! Just don't go crazy your plant is healthy no need to mess her up.
