@Andrewmarks flushing 2 weeks before harvest is overkill and possibly robbing yourself of final yield 3 or 4 days is all you need to flush the salts from within the growing medium. cannabis plants traditionally pack on the most of their final bulk in the last weeks before harvest I don't understand why some growers would deliberately starve their plants during this time? It is counterproductive. I know you have already harvested this plant but thought I would put my 2cents worth in for your next grow Good luck Mate

Hey there Andrez Marks ! Some genetics fade, others don't, some phenotypes fade , others don't. Senescence is a beautiful sight, but if your plant doesnt do it, it's not necessarily your fault at all. For sure lack of nutrients makes a plant wilt , but that's not senescence and surely a wilting plant is a bad sign. Two good things can happen when you flush : your plant stays healthy and fades, or your plants stays healthy and doesnt fade. The bad thing that can happen is that your plant is not ready to be flushed and starts to get deficiencies right before the chop. The point is if you time it correctly the senescence should happen shortly after the start of a long three week plain water watering (you dont need to flush flush in soil, just water with plain water for three weeks) . Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hey @AndrewMarks, you will want to start giving only water 14 days before harvest and the plant will start to fade between 3-7 days typically. Some strains take longer to fade in color, however that shouldn't matter much and your flush will be just fine as long as you time it with trichome color! 😎

Hi! I like to flush for 7-14 days it depends on a strain if it fades or not. Harvest time should be checked from tricomes.. more amber ones is more couch lock effect happy growing hope this helps somehow! 👍

I've had plants that faded even when feeding full nutes, others don't no matter what I did. Fading is by no means an indicator of harvest time, only the thricomes color.

Your plants look great! Some plants don't do a complete fade by the end of harvest. A better indicator is by looking at the trichomes. You can harvest them depending on how you like your high.. more amber trichomes are more narcotic and give the "couch lock" effect. Milky trichomes are when THC is at the highest. Some plants, typically sativas, won't turn amber or take a long time to turn.. so be patient and use the trichomes on the calyx and not the sugar leaves as a indicator of ripeness. Good luck and happy growing!

Hi @AndrewMarks! Some strains don't even fade, do not wait for it, use the trichomes as your main indicator for harvest window. I always flush for 7 to 14 days and half of my plants do not really fade during late flowering. Happy harvest! 👊
