Like the other comments, I think you should use 100% but the height from the canopy is more the issue. The manufacturer of your light may have recommendations for the height during veg and flower. Also if you want to stretch the plants higher, then you put the light higher. Another way is to find the par/square ft. of your lights. It's like an energy map of how much power your light gives to the canopy at different heights. This is the more accurate way to judge how high your specific light should be. Led lights have different ranges of height recommendations. Hope this helps.

60-90% during veg and 90-100% during flower. I agree with Roberts though, I only ever use 100% and both veg and bloom lights switched on together, right from day one and through to harvest, and only adjust the height, but 18-24 inches in veg and 12-18 inches high in flowering works for me (and with a 450 watt LED too). Hope this helps, Organoman.

Your light should intensify in closeness as plants go through stages. I stay on 100 percent to keep area warm. Just have plant farther from light vs dimming. Having a way to measure light intensity will help greatly here. General rule is 24 inches for vegging about 18 for flowering. It just depending on how bright your light is. Good luck
