sacs are overtly different. no hair. eventually extend from a twig-like projections and in multiples vs just 1 calyx (female) at a growth node (preflower site). the encasing is segmented if you have good enough eyes or a magnifying glass. that's where it splits open later on.
early on it is difficult to discern, but once it develops enough it is easy and that is long before the male bits are potent.
Fem seed can only be male if male pollen somehow contaminated the crop. XX x XX is always XX. meoisis cannot change an X chromosome to a Y chromosome.
if you have this happen, that breeder is probably suspect or you got really unlucky.
hermies happen, but should not be common or the breeder is suspect or your environemtn is an issue. flip a coin. plants that pop just nanners aren't a big deal, but that's lazy selection process too or your local environment.
