So i am reading diaries that are using MH & HPS lights and Seeing a Distance of 10-18 inches from plant.
Are people really putting them that close during flowering stage?

Does anyone have experience with colas that have been severely light deprived, yet still have trichs?My ghost nug grew up on the side of the tent blocked from light. She has trichs, looks super light yellow (see pics). My question is, wouldn't this be desirable? Less chlorophyll to wait on before smoking? Has anyone tried to maybe light deprive parts of their colas?6y ago

Is it worth adding a LED 18w 2700k strip light for last few weeks of flower?Should I add this light for the last few weeks of flower? I have a Streetlight 18w LED strip see pics. Small light/ big tentI just upgraded tents. It’s a 4x4x7 foot tent. I have a Mars Hydro TS1000. I know that’s not enough for that tent. when to switch from 4k veg light to 3kI have 7 3 week old plants under 165 watt of 4k quantum boards. They seem to be stack tight. my question should I switch them up now to 3k 240w light to get a bit more height... or what I think I should do, be patient veg them 4 full week under 4k then veg a week or 2 under 3k.Setup.
