First grow so I would appreciate additional opinions - have these plants begun to pre-flower? When should I switch to flowering nutrients?

Looks like the plant is showing she is a female. I suggest feeding flower nutrients 2 weeks after the plant goes into flower. That will be around the time the outside plants daylight is at 14hrs or less. Best of luck the rest of the grow.

Yeah they are entering the flowering stage slowly, I fertilize with grow nutrients from this point for another solid 10 days/2weeks and then switch to bloom. In between changes a nice flush goes a long way ;-)

Those pistols you see are just the beginning. Wait until she’s covered in giant white puff balls. Normal I wait to switch to bloom nutrients until I see their vertical growth slow down. It’s ok to overlap nutrients for 2 or there weeks- just at a lower amount. Try seeing if your nutrient manufacturers have a feed chart available online. And remember to go easy on the autos when it comes to feeding. They don’t tolerate it as well as the photoperiods do. 🌱
