about germination..

Too much water I believe. You are suppose to het humidity, not water. I really suggest you to try seeds directly in soil, I had no fail germination with it....

Age of the seed and heat can effect germination

I don't like the dark color of the seeds. Once the root appears it should grow pretty rapidly. If the root emerges then stops... it's not a good sign. I do not like the paper towel method the seed companies promote. I find it way too easy to keep the seeds too wet. They turn dark and don't germinate at all or they send out a weak root that just doesn't thrive. Now I soak my seeds in water for 24-36 hours. Then I plant them (I grow in soil).

Hey buddy, it’s clear that container has a lot of water and that absorbent paper. The idea is to leave the seeds germinating in a humid (not wet) place at around 20C... Unfortunately, it might have rotted, or it looks that way, what a shame u.u... you could be germinating another seed to replace it... cheers my friend and keep it up!

they aren't looking good at this point. the one with the tail almost looks like its been too saturated for too long. if i were you i would start with fresh seeds. if these are all you got, i would put them in your planned final medium or a rockwool plug or something similar so that they can get a decent amount of oxygen yet stay moist as well. unfortunately, i dont think these are likely to make it - BUT i have had a couple seeds make it into decent plants from seeds looking like this after a week. good luck!
