You're probably right. I hope you dont kill this once in a lifetime emerging strain though. The world needs a new cannabis strain more than anything! Good luck!

A 48hrs soak is a long time for me. Some seeds can drown at that length of time in water depending on their age.
If you notice the new leaves looking twisted and such. just give it some space and air it should bounce back.
