You’ll want to check if at least 10% of trichomes have an amber color and most are milky instead of clear to be sure.
Typically the leaves will also get brown tips

Trichomes seem to be aging faster than on normal inflorescence, touch slower than the ones on fans.

Would it be ok to dry for 2 weeks without any trim?My grow is taking longer than expected and life is getting in the way. I will not be able to harvest personally so when the time comes my friend will chop the plants and hang them in the tent. Is it time to harvest yet or should I wait a bit longer?At the moment I'm seeing 89% cloudy, 10% red and 1% clear trichomes. It is not very clear from the photos but from what I'm seeing through the magnifying lens this is how it seems. There is significant yellowing but also many white pistils.

Thoughts on reducing temp and humidity in this dry tent?I dry my bud in one of these HerbDryers that has an extractor fan. Because the surrounding air is still at 27 degrees celsius and RH at 67%, those values are the same inside the HerbDryer.
Any thoughts on how I might reduce the temp and RH inexpensively?

Is this still good or is it ruined?Hung plants to dry and waited for stems to snap, unfortunately when I checked the buds were so crispy they basically crumbles in my hands. I heard this could be mold/rot also. Did I mess up and over dry my buds, or is this something much more awful? Is this still salvageable?

Drying Techniques, Which One?...I have a question on drying, what are your opinions?
1)drying the whole plant fan leaves & all
2) drying the whole plant with only fan leaves removed
3) wet trim, cutting each branch off separately & then hang drying
I'm looking for best quality flower not the fastest.
