Humidity is a real issue and is in the range of 80-95%. Now this has has been fine up until now has anyone any experience growing at high humidity during the flowering stage? I am aware of the danger of bud Rot should I be concerned as I have a good ventilation?

Hi there Little Green Fingers, i'm actually keeping high humidity throughout flower with no issues. but i work for it lol. so here's my secret : add benecial biologicals to your grow as you're doing it. you can even spray them on. There is bacilus thuriengiensis for example that's really great to keep mold away. For your root zone consider innoculating with Trichoderma Harzianum . This is the way to control the potential mold issues. However the worst part is the drying, you absolutely need to figure that out because if you're not bud washing or in a pretty sterile environment, problems can happen quickly. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Honestly... If your humidity exceeds 70%, air flow will not help you. Bud rot happened to me despite fans going 24/7 and humidity at 65-70%. There's also the grow cycle issue - flowering stage goes better with low humidity. This can cause slow development. Dehumidifier might be the way to go. Good luck!

Yeah you really gotta get down below 60.. i shoot for 50 depending on temps and VPD. It’s common for it to crank up in flower. You’re gonna have a lot of issues if you can’t get it down soon. Exhaust somehow, get air movement and fresh air in

High humidity will make it harder for the plant to transpire which will hinder the uptake of nutrients. Keep that air circulating but don't have the fans directly on the plant as this will cause wind stress. Bud rot will be a concern and you will have to keep a close eye on the buds. I would recommend putting an air filter in to help reduce contaminates in the air. Another issue you might run into is if you have a carbon filter. They start to get clogged up with water when the humididity hits 70% and get less and less effective the higher the humidity is.

That high humidity is no good for cannabis in flower cycle. Best way to control humidity is outside the tent. Get a good dehumidifier with compressor.
