Carefully aerate the soils, starting at the edges of the pots, taking care not to disturb the roots. Put on a dust mask, preferably paper N95, cover your arms, wear rubber gloves and close fitting glasses...then scoop about 4 Tablespoons of diatomaceous earth on top of soil, and work into the top 3 inches, being careful with roots. The little creatures bleed to death as they hatch. If adult flies persist, and your grow is not flowering, spray neem oil mix just before lights out all over soil and tops and bottoms of leaves. The flies will disappear , but you may have to repeat once weekly to break their life cycle. Again, protect your lungs, eyes and skin. Do not breathe diatomaceous earth dust or neem oil spray.

yellow sticky traps to kill the adults. cover top layer of you medium with rocks. lat out a small plate of moist soil. change plate every day for 4 days

Simple just get the Mosquito Bits put them in a cheese cloth or strainer bag. Simmer your water......then soak the cloth or bag in it. Let it cool for a few hrs and feed the medium.

Those are fungus gnats. Get some Mosquito Bits. You can make a tea with it. Feed the medium with it.

I am a new grower trying to grow Chrystal by Nirvana. I have Phlizon 900w. LED Veg. lights going in a 3x3x5 tent and 6 plants. Temp is 78 degrees and humidity is 55% , ph with and without Nutrients is 6.2. Over the last few weeks I have brought the light down from 36" to 21" above the canape. I topped at the 5th. node and my plants are going into week 4 with no shock. They are only 4.5 inches tall in a 5 gal. cloth pot. and 3.5 gal. plastic pot. Do they need more light? Any suggestions?
