One or the other isn’t faster though. It still takes the same time for the roots to form and get back to revegging state whether from a mother plant in veg or a plant already in flower. A cutting from a vegging mother once it’s rooted can be sent directly to flower with no issues.
I’ve taken cuttings from and plant that is pretty much at the same stage you are in these pictures. I had a 5/5 success rate.
So I say it’s really your choice which route you want to go. But I take cuttings of any new pheno in my garden just to make sure because I won’t know how good it is until I harvest.
I like monster cropping so that’s my vote. 🤙
