Plants look small for their age?

My plants look relatively small for 17 days old, are their size a sign of a beginners mistake I am making? or perhaps just the strain is a slow starter and I have nothing to worry about at the moment? (First ever grow)

Trichome Advice--Cloudy enough to stop giving nutes??I'm trying to figure out when I should stop giving nutes. I've read 1-2 weeks before harvest when the trichomes turn Amber. Truth to giving the roots a reason to grow?In dwc I have seen different opinions on water level. Theres a saying that lowering the water to gives the roots a reason to grow but shouldn't the roots be saturated? Bad plant from bad seed? Keep or throw?So one of my girls germinated with only one leaf and is growing at a much slower pace compared to her sister (they germinated in soil within 24hrs from each other)
