Sugar leaves too compact to trim

Jas anyone had any issues trying to trim older dying leaves off a plant that's buds and sugar leaves are very compact not allowing much if any acess to stems? How do you deal? With not having access to the stem?

If you have to do it - stick your clippers in and get anywhere on the stem/petiole of the leaf and clip it.

You can trim/pinch them as deeply as you can reach. Be careful though, you will be leaving a wound/dead plant tissue deep within the flower. This could increase your risk for bud rot, which will love growing on dead or wounded tissue inside the bud. So if you do this be very careful about your humidity. You have some foxtailing, probably genetic, but watch out for plant stressors on that front as well. Happy growing!
