Lebende Erde spülen

Kolibri
Kolibristarted grow question 3 years ago

With dry organics like Dr.Earth or Gaia Green, you don't need a flush but I would stop feeding two weeks before harvest as they won't have time to use the food broken down by the microbial life. Just water like the other comments said. Flushing is a Myth to me. Some people swear by it. In a study of flush vs unflushed weed. the majorly of the panel preferred the weed that was not flushed in terms of looks, smells, taste and smoke. The panel was composed of connoisseurs. one of the links. https://manicbotanix.com/flushing-the-science/ Plus the Curing process is where the magic happens. Best of luck.

Just give plain water for the last 7-10 days before harvest, nothing else.

To add to my previous post. To stop feeding and only use PH'd water is not the same as flushing. Dry nutrients take 2-3 weeks to mostly get broken down. With that said I don't @B_dawg is flushing when they do what they do, its just wasting nutrients if they kept adding them and chop soon. To me flushing involves producing runoff, diluting the leftover and built up salts/nutrients in the medium, thus lowering their concentrations rapidly. If you water to the point of no runoff its not a flush i think. The definition of flush is quite wide though depending who you ask. The end result of both practices are lower concentration of nutrients in the medium just how fast you get there. cant flush what is not broken down yet. Cheers

If your not adding anything and just watering because your using an organic "Super Soil" There is not much you can do in terms of flushing. Flushing is what @B_dawg does, water only for the last phase of growth. It is done with added nutrients since most of them are salt based and buildup in the medium. Adding only water for the last bit removes this buildup and ensures the final bud's don't have excess amounts in them when your drying. Happy Growing

I grow organically with slow release dry amendments. I Dont flush in the sense of runoff but i time the last feed about 3 weeks from harvest. Then use just phd water til the end.
