Should I defoliate?

Hi everyone and TIA, I'm wondering if I should defoliate a little before putting them on 12/12 schedule? BTW I'm fixing a little deficiencies they had... what's the experts advice??

I wouldn’t, or maybe just a few leaves on the bottom there close to the medium..
I wouldn’t flip til you have those deficiencies sorted and they are growing happily again.
But once flowering has started and they stretch, consider defoliation again if needed
