Time lapse under HID lighting

How do people do time lapse with hid lighting? Do I need to set timers to turn off hid, turn on fluorescent and then take the picture? Is there a filter I could buy that eliminates the horizontal scanning lines?

light schedule changeI wanna change light schedule for my babies.. for now they run from 07 to 24 hours and I want to run from 18 to 12 hours so I would have dark period during day.. should I just leave it to run for 30 hours and then introduce new "night" time?? Wrong power cable in my LED light: still light when switched down off.Have you ever made this mistake? My second harvest was someway worst then my first. Sure I did some watering mistakes but during my chores in the room and in the tent, I found out. I used a random power cable on my PAR LED lamp so when It turned off still had some light on. Light height full power vs dimmedHi, with light height, does it make a difference to the plant if I'm at full brightness and further away vs dimmed and closer? LED's wont shut completely offLights seem to go on a "standby mode" instead of being all the way shut when timers switch them off. Should I buy some other timers? These were brand new, cheap ones though and both the same. Lights are HLG 600 RSPEC and both did this.
