Time lapse under HID lighting

How do people do time lapse with hid lighting? Do I need to set timers to turn off hid, turn on fluorescent and then take the picture? Is there a filter I could buy that eliminates the horizontal scanning lines?

Too little lightI have now tried removing the WPM by smiering 40/60 milk/water on the affected areas. Added a light, how far should I hang them both from the girls?I have added a Mars Hydro TS600 to my tent along with the Spider Farmer SF1000 in my 2x2, how far should I move them up away from the plants? I'm guessing I don't want them as low as the SF1000 was on its own which was around 15"

Distance from bulb or from reflector?I found content about the distance from grow lights to the plants. I Know that using a 250w MH bulb the distance should be in a range from 20cm to 30cm. But i dont know If I should measure the distance from the glass of the reflector or from the bulb itself to the plants. Help!Week 3

24 hours daylight in flower mistakeI have made a mistake - have 4 tent set ups each different digi light timers - this tent has mistakenly been left on (24 hours daylight!) for just over a week - should be week 4 flower. can it be saved? any advice? I have put it right so should get the 12 hours dark like the rest

Lights Got Stuck On When It Should Have Been DarkI found last night that the timer for my lights got stuck on for close to 8 hours past when it should have been in dark period. 72H NON STOP LIGHTI think I'm effed.... When I changed the light cycle 3 days ago, I unwillingly touched the "ON" button (it was on auto prog before) on my timer... I noticed last night that the light was still on.
That means : 72h of nonstop light. What does it mean? what to do? they seem weak

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.
