This is a widely debated topic and basically will all come down to preference. I usually wait till about the 5th node , this will ensure that your tap root is long enough . Once you top your plant the tap roots development slows right down and take quite some time to get going again if at all . You can top before if you want but I recommend the 5th node . With happy and healthy plants they spring right back into action within a few days . I hope this information helps you on your path to becoming a master grower ! -Happy Growing!

Well what look are you looking for exactly if you too super early you get basicaly two plants that of trained right can produce OZ if you don’t top you get a straight line of against cola with some smaller colas as well try topping a plant after the 1-4 nodes then let a plant wait tell like the 7-9 it’s crazy the differences 🌱💚😊

I let them most time grow until is see 4or 5 nodes then i top them above the 3rd Node, but there is another thing that catches my eye, your plant grows very dense and nearly " dwarfed" as if the lights are to strong/ to close to her, the distance between the nodes ar very close ( thats what i mean with dwarfing) that happens if the light is to strong/ to near . If you lower the output or rise your lights she will stretch more for the LIght greetings

Me my self I waited till my girls were about 3 weeks or the the 2nd set of true leaves has come through my light hanged rather high as well to try and make that internode gap more pronounced then tight ,especially an indica heavy strain she gonna be bushy and don't want those nuggets choked by being to close causing you mold and other issues ...as long as they healthy and growing good then that third node comes along and chop goes the top ..

I too mine as soon as possible. I try to top at the 3rd node so I too them as soon as I can safely get the scissors in there and cut the main stem without damaging the leaves on the secondaries that will become the 2 new tops. It usually happens between 2 or 3 weeks. I would have already topped the ones in the pictures you posted there. I have also found it works better for me to move the light up a little a day or 2 before topping to induce a little stretch if the nodes are as tight as yours.
