LST always depends on the length of the main trunk. If this is too short, there is a risk that you will snap it off. In this case, topping is more appropriate. Your plants have grown tall, so you can now bend them with a large radius. You can usually see this from the 3rd node, at the latest by the 5th you should have done it. Otherwise the truunk will be too thick to bend.

Those are plenty large enough to start lst. Use plant wire with the rubber coating, string etc can cut through the stems, it’s pretty cheap and works great

Hey growmie ,I TOP mine autos always after third note (or third real set of leaves ), also I use soft green wiring to pull them gently down and train them for better light penetration ,after that I got more plastic bending knees or what they called ,you can see in mine diaries if you want to check :) ,happy growing mate 👍🏼.
