How do you measure your plants correctly?

When measuring the height of a plant do you measure from soil to top of canopy or is it the length of the main stem? MIne are trained sideways.😎

from the base of the plant disregarding the pots lol I wouldn't measure it from the floor including the pot lol thats just cheating haha 👊 I would mesure how high your side branching gets in this case lol

opinion on bud maturity ?About 6 weeks since flip from flower and wanted to know if the orange/browning of the white pistils means that the bud has already reached its max size and will only ripen ,but bud sizes look pretty small to me does this mean yield will be low ? or am i just overthinking.Buds. To LST or not to LST?I have 2 healthy Automaria II, paradise seeds, 3 weeks after germination and 16 cm tall, on the balcony and I am tempted to bend one of them and practice some LST of FIMming to see the difference.
