2 questions: - Every bud has e different ratio clear/milky/amber trichomes. What to do? For instance: one bud is already al 30% amber, while the rest is at 90% cloudy... - The top buds are ready/mily and few amber, but the subtops are 50% milky. What to do? Harvest partially?

Partial harvesting is not a problem. If the upper flowers are much wider than the lateral and lower ones due to shading, this is an advantage. There can be a good week between time points. Harvest when all are milky with a small portion showing a little amber. However, you have to be careful later when drying that you don't throw them together.

Two thoughts here... not all buds can be judged by tricome color- ive seen one strain the damm tricomes all look pink no matter what... so tris are a good way to judge, but if the bud has looked ready for a while and your judging on tris now well you can scratch that thought off. However if the buds still dont look quite ready, dont use the tris as the only judge of if they are ready or not. But generally most strains can be judged pretty well on tris so if we say yours are like that too, then go ahead and harvest the ones that are ready and leave the rest a bit longer. If you think about it the only reason the whole plant was chopped back in the day was no one wanted to be around plants any more than needed as it was illegal so u got in, chopped the lot and got out. Now we have the freedom to harvest whats ready and leave the rest and its better for the final harvest. I swear by it. Unless rain forces me to chop the lot I always take top colas first and leave side branches a bit longer. Indoors main colas first and leave the rest for 5-7 days.
