Do you consider the moment you plant that seed as starting of week one or do you wait till the seedling breaks thru and start week one there?

Yes ,the most opinionated question on GD. How does each grower figure or count the age of their plants. I personally call day 1 when I see the first set of serrated leaves in between the cotyledon starting to emerge. Some start day 1 when the seeds break the surface of the soil. Others go by when the cotyledon open and drop the seed shell. So the official spread is about a difference of 3 to 4 days depending on the strain and temperature. It would be nice to have a uniform count that every one uses but don't forget your dealing with a bunch of stoners so that figures in to the equation. 😂

I consider week 1 to start once the plant has actually sprouted. It really doesn't matter too much one way or the other, but before sprout theres really not much going on that would be worth recording before sprout.
