Hello happy people! I’m doing the check and watering from up close, how much time do you think I have until harvesting? Cheers!

Hi guys, thanks for all your helpful comments and tips! @DutchDoobie I’ll harvest by the end of this week. My doubts now are related with the days it will need for drying before the cure. Any advices so I can have the best timing and control before putting into a glass jar? I’ll upload 2 more recent photos of my buds! Thanks a lot 🙏

Two different strains in your diary, one is a quick version the other is a automatic. I don't know what one is in the photos but they look like they are about ready. I think your grow could have used a better light source, they have stretched so much and the bud sites are on the smaller side of things. Might want to look into purchasing a proper grow light/tent if you continue in this craft, you will notice a large improvement in the quality of the buds. I use Trichomes as an indactor for harvest mainly and Pistils. Note that sometimes trichomes are ready before pistils are browing, and in other times the pistils are all dried up before the trichomes are ready. This are all based on environmental factors. A really dry flowering room will cause more dried pistils prematurely especially if a fan is pointed at them. Good Luck! ***disclaimer, multiple people are answering all questions as there is a contest called GOTM, when a user is selected as the answer they get a point. I would harvest now, they are not going to get any much bigger and you are at max THC levels now.

Great wolf you were wrong about the terpene evap and you’re wrong about this. Those are far from the only two instances that stigmas will brown out. This shit is so toxic now..

Please people, learn a little about plant biology and don't post misinformation. Dry environments do not cause premature browning of pistils, nor do fans. Two things will cause the color change: If they "age out", sit too long without becoming fertilized, you'll see the seed pod swell slightly. Or if the seed becomes fertilized, when the pistils shrivel up and fall off. If you've ever missed a watering (I have), you'll have noticed that the plant loses a few leaves as it recovers, not the the pistils turned brown. This is because the female cannabis plant is solely focused on procreation, not growth. Facts, not opinions, nor emotions, should govern our advice. We want to encourage the use of fans, not discourage it. Good luck

High Jamesujo, You need to look at the trichomes with a pocket microscope. x60 is perfect for looking at trichomes. They are really cheap!!! (like 10 dollars) To understand how you have to look at the trichomes I will send you a link from the Royal Queen Seeds company website. They have a greag article about how to look at the trichomes with pictures and they explain everything you need to know about this. Here is the link: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-cannabis-trichomes-importance-n430?_gl=1*ktfpnz*_ga*MjA4MDA2NjY4Mi4xNjYxNDQwOTcx*_ga_MFLBPT8N0L*MTY2MTQ0MDk3MS4xLjAuMTY2MTQ0MDk3MS4wLjAuMA.. Happy Growing! 😋

Looking at the first photo you posted for the week in your diary, I'm not seeing any white pistils, indicating that flowering has greatly slowed or ceased. You're at our above 95% orange pistils, which many people use to determine when to harvest. I know that many will chime in, that you MUST go by trichomes. That's just not true. While it may be the preferred method, it is not the only reliable method. People have been harvesting high quality weed without magnifying lenses for hundreds of years. And some people, even with loupes and magnifying lenses for cameras still find it difficult to estimate the percent of amber trichomes. So go with what works best for you. The short answer to your question is, yes, she's ready for harvest. Good luck

You need to get a much closer look at the trichomes here... grab yourself a jewelers loupe or a microscope to take a look at them. You want to see them all milky with about 10-20% of them amber and you'll be good to chop! I'm thinking you're at least VERY close! Glad to see she wasn't a hermie!! And congrats on your first grow and harvest!! Good luck!
