Is it good to continue too defoliate throughout the entire flowering stage to bring light to more of the bud sites? I defoliated consistently and at times heavily up too week 3 but haven't touched the plant since then so I didn't disturb the plant anymore

Just remember......... Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth. Your plant gets all of its energy from the leaves. Less leaves means there is less energy to grow the buds.

Hi, if you understand your strain and what it can be pushed to do then you will be surprised how hard you can defoliate..in some cases. However golden rule is dont defoliate after 6wks into flowering. Also that link GrowingGrannie put below is solid. It gives you the fundamentals..although not at all brave which is good for beginners it spells things out real easy and from there you can experiment within those safety perimeters. I wish you very sticky buds!

You should only defoliate during weeks 1-4 flowering don’t want to stress your plant while your fat into flowering

This is a link to what is now my "bible" as far as defoliation goes... it explains the WHY, the HOW and the WHEN - and the rationale for each... I think you'll find it very good! https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial Good luck!
