Hello my dear fellow herbie enthusiasts. I was pondering something . Has anyone used both HID lights and LED lights together?? . If so, what effect did it have on your grow ? . I have a curious mind lol . Many thanks in advance

Hi there! Yes it works! Actually plants love mixed spectrums, HID provides intensity and LED gives a great spectrum, from what I've seen and experienced mixing both together is always a success! I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

I have not done it myself, but I've seen it done. LED promote shorter inter nodal spacing and HID results in bigger nugs. You would find a squat plant with dense buds and short internodal space. The question is can you deal with the amount of heat they would generate?

Note that I have two plants in one hydro farm. The small plant is 5 days younger, as many parents experience it was an accident, but I love her nonetheless. I hate to toss one, but have nowhere else to grow it. Can I grow both in the same pot ?

Q1: I did a slight bit of “lillipopping”, cutting lower sun leaves and small energy wasting budsites. Along with this and slight bits of LST at this stage will it effect bud density for the better or worse? Q2: would a larger space now be worth the effort (1.5x1.5x2m tent)?Thanks

I have my light dimmed down but also lower to get a lux reading around 25000. According to the HLG conversion calculator it's putting me around 364ppfd. Is this acceptable or is my light placement/setting going to affect my plant negatively?

I tried Advanced Nutrients feeding calculator. 30L reservoir full of tap water (130ppm) and, in total, 120ml for both Connoisseur A+B, and 60ml for each of the 3 additives. I did exactly what they suggested and measured EC after mixing up well. Is it normal to have this crazy EC?
