What are my chances of a cutting that was only meant to be stretched with LST, string surviving without any root products. Its placed directly into a grow cube, with water and then the mini greenhouse. I have a perfect LED grow light gently willing it on. WILL IT SURVIVE???

i had rooted with 90% chance straight to soil many times
did with rubbing into cinnamon, same thing
tried scraping stems and keeping in water till small rooting and then planting , does same
your stem is very fat, if you give time and love - 99% of it will make it, i would take off biggest leaf and next two biggest would shorten the length of all fingers. if you watched any cloning video you will understand, that's the only thing i would adjust.
i put broken branch next to my worst plant ever and it still made, without any humidity dome, later picture of that clone was used in RQS article as leading picture, weed is very resilient !!!!!

Rooting gel isn’t that important . I clone with and without it all the time.. hardly see a difference.

If you can, get some rooting gel and dip the stem in that, then back into the cube - that would give you the best shot. I'd also trim off the larger of the fan leaves to help the plant concentrate on producing roots - right now, probably too much energy is going into trying to keep those leaves alive...
Good luck! Glad you're trying this - because if you hadn't, you most DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to produce a clone... this way, you've got a shot at it!

What should I do with my plants that have grown thicc to receive more light? - First GrowMy plants (1 auto, 1 photo) have grown a lot and are now pretty thicc.
