Hello everyone, after the night I noticed that there are a lot of new roots trying to grow from stem. I know this is ok, but I wonder can I add some soil on top of the existing to help develop these roots? Won't it cause stem rot? I want to fill the space in my pot

Usually cannabis grown from seeds don't rot from stem like tomato or other veggies, but cannabis clones yes. You can add some soil (1-2 cm every few days) under cotyledons, she will be fine. But it's not necessary :)

They aren't roots, but "hairs"/fibers - a type of non glandular trichome. Adding another layer of soil won't hurt. Roots sprout from the stem from white nodules that will appear as the plant ages, near the base of the stem.

it will be totally fine if you toss some more soil on top of the plant's roots. i recommend using worm castings. I don't quite know what it is about them, but they help plants thrive. i hope this helps.

And I know it would be easier to transplant this plant in future as it's photoperiodic, but I have the same as autoflower, and I don't want to transplant it, so this might be a better solution? If it works
