How much stretch to expect in beginning of flower

First time scrogging and trying to figure out how to much height to expect in the flowering stretch? It's the first week and has already stretched 4-6inche's already. Any input would be greatly appreciated π

Hey Fam Looking Great So far! I follow The Northern Scrogger on IG he is an amazing Scrog Grower def check him out! But to attempt to answer your ? I believe you can expect 2-3x stretch of course I seen some do more and some less so all depends on the plant but 2-3x seems to be a average street you can expect to see after flip I hope this helps and Happy Growing

Should expect the same for next week maybe two week. It really depends on what your growing. Frist two week stretch the most.

They can double, even triple, in size while stretching!
Just keep on tuckin' and you'll be fine. You can always add another trellis to support big floppy buds down the road, so tuck until you fill the trellis and then let it grow vertical after that.

From your diary it looks like youβre spreading them out pretty good..
If they stretch alot add a second scrog when the stretching starts to slow down further up π

Which branches to cut?I am new to all indoor. Will these lower sites make it to the netting? Do most who use this technique just Veg until netting is even, switch to flower, defoliate to netting then let them stretch? Or do you LST the top portion until the lowermost branches reach the netting? π³

When is better NOT to use a scrog net?I just mounted the net and adjusted the canopy, but since I did a lot of LST their canopy is already kind of organized. I don't know if it does make sense at all since I will struggle to reach the back of the tent. Maybe I just didn't do it properly? Thanks for any advice!

Should I Scrog? Confused!My garden seems healthy despite me. Guys I'm confused as to what I should do. Plans are to ScrOG at 18" (which I have never done) with a screen that is 3' x 4'. This screen would cover the entire container area plus about 4" over around the edges. Should ScrOG or just let grow?

Continue tie-down or start using a scrog netSince it seems like I can do LST for quite a while longer, and I do technically have a scrog net lying around;Would you guys continue with the tie-down method, or position a scrog net 5-10 cm over the current canopy and guide the plant through the net? Now 12-12 and scrog net?the time has come to switch to flowering, from the beginning of next week (maybe in 10 days maximum) I will set 12-12. I thought that towards the 50th day I could free it from the bindings and move it away from the light gradually and then put a scrog net, okay as a procedure?

Do side shoots come back if I remove them?If I remove a side shoot coming out of a stem, is there a chance another may grow out of that spot later? I'm afraid I removed too many side shoots during my scrogging but feel like more will grow back in a week lol. It grows so fast in hydro.Week 6

Donβt know if keep scrog technique with two plants or 3 in 20 liter pots, or an 8 plants sog in 8.5 or 15 liter pots.
