What does the breeder recommend? If you keep in mind that those times are based on plants that were thriving in the very best conditions, i always add a week or 2 to have a indication for myself.
Also to be sure i check the trichromes with a microscope that i can put on my mobilephone and zoom in with the camera app. I also know some people use a jewelers loupe
