Rdwc to build or buy?

I want to make the switch to a 6-9 site rdwc hydroponic system. Now should I build it or buy one ? The costs are astronomical for plug and play... what do you got? How do you like it? What would you do ? I am in Canada and lots do not ship to us here it seems ...

Finally I made £392/hr. It’s time to take some action and you can join it too.It is a simple, q15 dedicated and easy way to get rich. Three weeks from now you will wish you had started today.Simply give it a shot on the accompanying site. GOOD LUCK… www.jobsrevenue.com

@gottagrowsometime , yes I am set on a rdwc system. I'll learn as I go and if I make a mistake I'll correct it and if it's too late then I'll chuck the unit and replace it. I'll still keep my other tents loaded with plants and I'll simply run the system until I get it down. As for the Mars hydro system it's definitely not the route I want to go. I'm not a fan of their products in all honesty and I've had a few. At this time I will be buying a full rdwc system I've got nothing to lose at this point besides a few square feet in my home that my wife and kids aren't going to miss

I know you want RDWC. But seriously. Unless you got it down to a t And even then. If 1 thing goes wrong in your mix, it affects all the plants. Would you not try the new mars hydro drip kit. It's like RDWC in a sense. The have 4 big pots and a ring that sits on to of the sub, and you have a big res outside your tent. This way, if 1 plant has an issue you can add something to that 1 plant. As they all won't be attached so you can add. Or set it up that it wasters 1 r 2 and then do swap out the water in the res, just keep a spare bucket so you can store 2 dif res. This will allow you to grow plants at different stages. As if you do a 1 system setup you'll be stuck to and hoping they all go along the exact same. (As all phenos are different. Some might need extra NPK, calmag or whatever) and it also ties your back to not been able to abandon a plant and do a redo. As the 3 plants that might be good will be much further ahead and then your 1 plant down say for whatever reason.. and also, it'll trsp you into only been able to grow fems. As autos can flip as early as 15-45 days depending. So, again. I don't like the idea of 1 tank for 4 dif phenos unless they clones that way you are more or less sure you won't run into any of the issues I talked about. But if you do get a RDWC set. You can get 1s where you can take 1 tank off and run that solo in the same space you'll just be running on an air pump. With growrilla you can separate a pot from the set if she needs dif stuff. Good luck.

Growrilla do a really good 1. Its a bit more expensive.. but don't get the ones with the blue on the side so you can read the water level I've read lots of reviews about that leaking. They still all spare parts as I lost 1 of my washers (seal) and they send me out a new 1 for free. To build your own, you'll need a lot. And they are designed tested and tested again to see water flow and so on. But, they do sell all the bits or there's many a site that you can build it yourself. Good luck

I plan on going back to hydro and building an RDWC system as soon as I end up in my next place. May be this year or next year, but thats a whole nother story.. either way, my plan was to use the rectangle storage totes from home depot. Was gonna run 45L totes as the buckets and 102L as the res. More likely than not would end up putting something into the 45l totes to take up space until they plants started getting big to cut down on water and nutrients required.. waiting until I end up where I need to be before piecing and sourcing everything but thought I'd throw the small amount of plan I do have at ya just to get the creative juices flowing. (Part of the reason i planned on using them is they are opaque and black sides with a bright lid to reflect light instead of absorb heat. 2nd reason was flat sides make bulkheads seal better.)

for what they charge, almost better to go look fo bulkheads in a 10-pack and some buckets. hd/lowes hve 10-packs at slightl better prices at times. you'd have to lightproof most anythign yoou buy for a rez. they sure do charege a lot for black opaque buckets near me. could wrap anything in tin foil easily enough. doesn't look pretty but effective. these things are simple as far as design, you can just copycat whichever one you like best or even mix 2 designs together and be even happier. Buy better quality seals and such and still spend less with more peace of mind. 55-gal rain barrel for 75-100 usd... screw those little 10-20gal rezzes if you have up to 9 sites. those small ones would last 24-48 hours with any medium-sized plant. Something to be said for convenience too... design it all out, compare price.. is it worth the extra time and effort? i don't think it's a time-intensive project.. probably take more time making sure you get all the parts necesary.
