Absolutely, just make sure the heat is controlled, Red and Blue light will be absorbed 80-90% in the first layers of leaves (top down), Green light is designed to penetrate deeper into the canopy and is responsible for the large that develops but without Red & Blue all you will get is lackluster popcorn nugs. The optimal ratio for photosynthesis is RBG 1:2:1 Green although required, it is required in small doses, too high concentrations of green in the "full spectrum" can have negative effects, if you add side supplemental lighting, add Blurple to prevent all the greens from meeting in the middle. growdiaries.com/diaries/156342-grow-journal-by-exbeginner/week/903097 Potatoe, potato

it will help.. prolly better with led strips or soemthing diy, but it'll shine on things that don't get enough light so it will help in those areas. Anything light not hitting top of leaves will be attenuated. The chlorophyl is significantly less concentrated and deeper in the tissue from that angle. Light that hits under the leaves is less effective than light that hits top of leaves... technically any green surface on plant is capable of photosynthesis, but this ain't a palo verde tree, either (spelling?). So, becareful of adding too much to canopy, and try best to hit tops of leaves where you can... it'll be less efficient use of watts, but if the results warrant the extra electricity, can't argue with it. trial and error...

I've never tried this with a light that big but I'm sure you could if the plants can handle it and have the demand for it. I've personally hung GE horticulture 40w 2ft bar lights along the the sides during bloom for a sativa run I did and it worked wonders. Good luck.

More the light the better, as long as you have your temp humidity and other parameters in check you can push the PPFD to over 1800 if ya want the higher the DLI the better
