Roots busted out the bottom of grow bag

I had roots pop out the bottom of my grow bag. They seem kind of light brown, but they sit right where the water pools after I water them. They don't smell bad and they aren't slimey. Are they ok? Should I do anything about this?

Thank you everyone. The roots have been snipped and I will check on the bottom of my pots more often going forward.

Thanks to everyone that answered. I usually vacuum the water out immediately as soon as I can or as soon as it's done running off. I've missed it a few times though and I've gotten lucky with no slime. I'm just going to cut them right off

They are fine.. brown with no slime or stink just means they are stained from fertilizer or substrate. whether in the pot or not, sitting in the pool of water is the cause of risk. inside the fabric or not at bottom makes no difference.. in fact better without light. anyay, a pot shouldn't sit in it's runoff. that's the danger here - overly wet, anaerobic conditions = bad bacteria potential. the roots that escape the pot should air prune themselves, but swill of runoff water is clearly preventing that. you could prune them off (and without doing anything about cause will have to do so repeatedly until end), but you also want to use some sort of riser/grill for your pot. A big benefit of fabric pots that the roots will air prune themselves instead of wrapping around over and over (cause of rootbound). if it sits in runoff that may be reduce at bottom. depends on how long it stays moist and how long it dries out between irrigations.

Don't leave them to sit in the water - you can either prune them off or you can make sure they're not sitting in the water (i.e., get rid of the excess water)... if they stay in the water, you run the risk of developing root rot.

Just cutt them of completely, it wont hurt her. Normally they would "air prune" themselves but look like they have a source of water. She won't skip a beat.👊
