Should I raise the light higher than the recommend...

hey there, normally i would say do raise the lights slightly but not for that reason, mainly because i see some magnesium deficiency which is probably related to the light being a close. i'm not saying go all the way to 31 inches though, that's a surprising thing to me. that's why i would say maintain the 31 inches, in fact you've done everything perfectly, just be a bit patient this plant will enter it's own veg stretch and double and triple in size even before the flowering.
