Two main branches split the stalk due to over training

I topped an autoflower plant, and I over trained it. The plant stalk has split between the two main branches that are being trained. I removed the training wire hoping that the plant will heal itself. Is there anything else I should do or put on it to help it heal?

Unfortunately I've just experienced the same thing a week ago 😢. Use some garden wire to keep them together, as long as it didn't break off they should keep growing. During this week, be careful not to not cause any additional stress because it has had enough. Additionally try to keep the environment as clean as possible because an "open wound" is more prone to diseases. Good luck on the rest of your grow and hope you get some big yields.

Mend the split if it is still fresh. Should not top autos anyway. There is not enough time for them to redirect. Lst them heavily is best. Take a zip tie or piece of wire, and pull parts together. Remove any lst anchors. Training is done for on this plant. Just let it finish after mending. Autos do best in a coco or Hydro set up. The roots can't do enough in soil. It is just too heavy for them.

Use some tin foil for a cheap fix mate. Wrap it tight, remove it in a few weeks it'll have a big knuckle where that split was. Give her some calmag for the next week also just to be safe.

A cable tie, "not 100% needed" but, brace it someway so there's no more pull from both sides as they get heavy they'll put more stress on that. As for the split. Given time it'll go hard. And recover. FYI after a few weeks. Remove cable tie, "or until you see it cutting into stem. You won't have to have it so tight, just enough so it won't get any worse.
