I use neem oil in my garden as a preventative and have not had any issues! (Knock on wood) Does not look like anything I have seen before

I use Trifecta with a little bit of neem oil added for pests and white powdery mildew; all organic. If there are bugs on your plant and you spray it with trifecta, they vacate immediately.

@gottagrowsometime yeah I didn't make a diary as I have had very little time to keep it up to date. I only grow one plant at a time and for as far I know there are no pests. My previous plant has been a few weeks/months and everything I use is clean and new. Temps 27c humidity bit high 50%. Sorry I don't have a diary for you.

@m0use hmm I might see if they can fall off. I don't have any pests going on, not that I know off and I only grow one plant at a time.

Sometimes plants make roots in the air if its really humid. My tomatoes do this a lot on areas closer to the base of the plant. Kinda looks like that. I would not rule out pests like suggested below, if the nibs fall off or are washed off then it is not areal roots forming.

Have you got pests? Really an attached diary would be ideal for us to help you. Seriously. And this might sound silly. It looks like pest shit. Lol. Even saying that feels silly. But, I've no idea. There shouldn't be any reason why Resin or anything like that would come from your stem. Also, it doesn't come from there. My Guess. Is its the byproduct of a pest. Either their ends. Or what they were converting into food.
