I am using the mars hydro ur45 LED for the first time. I am using it how they recommend it be used. Has anyone used one of these in their grow? Is the mars hydro recommended schedule okay? Or should I be using it a different way in my grow? Thanks!

The UV-A is very powerful. And you'll find mixed opinions on it
I did notice a sharp increase in resin and trichomes with my autos were out out this world mixed auto strain diary
I talk in depth as I said in all aspects of this light. Feel free to mes me for a semi guide when to use.
But, they really are a gift for fems. They speed up the time it takes to flip into pre flower from 10-14 days to 4-7 days i see pistils (stigmata) days after I switch to a 13/11 on/off for pre flower. And for fattening you can do a 14/10 on/off but with autos. You don't need it, as you will reach your DLI within the 18hr window. But with fems. It adds extra DLI by like 20%. Amazing when you fully grasp how to use it.

Yes, mars-hydro chart is wrong.
They really come into their own with Fems. As you use the Far red to add 1-2hrs to your flowering stages. DO NOT use the Far Reds unless you want your auto to stretch. As using the red with lights on will trick the plant into thinking its been overshadowed and cause to stretch. I go into depth how to use on my 6-8 month old diaries. You'll see how I used the Far Reds in pre flower and caused mad stretching in dom indicas. There really is no need to add the Far Red to your auto grow until its out of the stretching / growing window.

Lux Meter Apps on SmartphonesWhat are your thoughts on Lux meter apps? The app on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ is showing 16,600 Lux at the tops of the seedlings, and converting that to a rough PPFD shows 222.55/umol/s/m². Reading more, 15k-45k Lux and 200-400 PPFD is good for early veg.

Lights for heat- 24/7 okay?I really need the heat of the lights to keep the inside of my tent warm. Is there a difference between µmol 2,7 and 2,8 when it comes to yield?
