When should i place my plant under the led light, right now i have my plant on the windowsill because its still pretty bright outside and i want to safe as much electricity as possible

Place them under the light as soon as possible imo, its really not that much of a difference in pricing if you run the light at 25% power for 2 weeks.

Asap, I understand you want to save money. But led lights are so efficient you won't notice the difference in electric bill during first 2 or 3 weeks. Lower light to 20-40% depending on how strong and powerful the light is. Then lower it to its recommended hanging height. Your plant will receive more light and longer hours this way and will give it the best growth, this stage is CRITICAL to get a good yield. You don't want to starve your plant on light! Pretty soon. It will get better quality light once you have it under led. Plus longer hours. Otherwise the plant will look scraggly and like crap in the window over time.
