Germinating

Bem amigo eu usso sempre papel toalha. Um exemplo germinação de 3 sementes com mesma genética, em mesmo pote, 2 germinarão em 24h e uma delas não germinou, eu deixo mais 24h, se não brotar fasso um pouco de pressão na semente até abrir, (muito cuidado para não esmagar). Desde que fasso isso tenho taxa de sucesso 100%, vontade mais de 6 anos que não perco uma sementes, não digo que não pode acontecer, mas tenho medado muito bem assim. Bons fumos Plantas felizes

Start again! Seriously though, not all seeds are good and some willl just not grow, no matter what you do. I am not a fan of either the "glass of water" method or the "wet paper towel" method, prefering to plant them directly in soil, but the wet paper towel method is fairly foolproof. Otherwise planting seeds in small "Rockwool" cubes is east too. If you are keen, I have posted a tutorial for the "Rockwool cube" method in the "germination" week of my "cannabis conundrums" diary.

If they are viable seeds then give them more time, but you have to remember that sometimes the seeds just aren't any good.

Try different methods. Don't disturb seeds as they germinate. Occasionally I come across just bad seeds. It's why the plant can produce so many.

Check the pH. If water is okay, then it's possibly an old, inviable seed. Try soaking it for up to 24 hours, then paper tower or direct-to-substrate method. Google "scoring a seed." I wouldn't do that last one except in extreme situations. Too much risk of damaging something without an extremely good reason to do it, but seed shells can harden over time and a little etch in outershell might help in some situations.
