Its all on how you feel comfortable germinating a seed. Some will leave it in the water until it cracks open while others soak it for X hours and then plant. Others put in paper towel after soaking. I put in paper towel right away and plant once it cracks. Or even putting it directly in your medium is another popular method. Happy Growing

I would wait until they actually crack open before moving them to the paper towel.

I actually take it and put it directly into my grow medium... the paper towel isn't necessary at all imho! Good luck!

hello, it depends by how many days the seeds are in the water. In my experience the germination starts in 24H but if the seeds are old they could need more time. Good luck mate!

If they were longer than 24 hours on bottom, they can drawn. Then you need to transfer them to moist napkin. Some people swear by this easy way : m.youtube.com/watch

the first thing you have to do is leave the seeds in a glass of ph balanced water, after 12-18 hours the seed should sink to the bottom with a light touch of your finger, if this is the case then move the seed to a wet tissue and keep it like that until you see that the root has emerged 1 cm from the seed, then plant it in the desired medium, the seed should emerge from the ground within 2-3 days. Happy growing!
