About 4-6 days. Next time I'll use the paper towel method, I feel as if i get better and quicker results that way.

I do it in paper towel and almost every seed pops out. She usually pops in 1/2 days.

Klappt fast immer.

i usually put in glass of distilled water for 12-18 hrs then into paper towel.. usually 2-4 days and have a tail and ready to plant in soil....it will depend on the seed itself how long it takes..older seeds, harder shells etc make take longer but this method has worked well for me...

6 hours in water then into root cubes and into an incubator. it really reduces the stress of having to stay on top of things and wondering what's going wrong. heat mat, root cubes, special incubator, perfect conditions reduce my anxiety - try it out you tell me . Hope this helps ! 🚀

My way is soak seed for roughly 12 hrs, then place in moist paper towel, usually within 12 hrs to 24 hr in paper towel the seed will split open and the tap root will appear, as soon as tap root starts breaking through the shell I then place in my chosen medium. About a day later she will be breaking ground. So roughly 3 days from start to breaking ground. The reason I do this is that way I know when I see the tap root the seed won't be a dud.

Direct in substrate reduces overall risk, even if it's already so miniscule it doesn't make mcuh of a difference.. still true. as long as you don't put it in too deep or tamp down too hard, it'll sprout within 2-4 days. Which means it germinated long before that point - if you want to compare apples to apples - it's probably the same length of time for same reasons. when you dive down into it... this is more of a personality test... some ppl need to 'see' it immediately.... others can wait and toil less :P

the seeds are usually germinated in paper towels, a healthy seed usually develops in 4-5 days and can be planted.make sure the paper towel is neither too wet nor too dry.if you want to store seeds for your next planting, put it in the refrigerator compartment.

A seed shouldn't stay too long in a glass of water, they can drown. I usually let mine stay 24 hrs in a glass of water and then put in the paper towel until they pop up (some already pop in these 24 hrs). Some seeds may also take more days to start, so I'd put them in a wet paper towel and wait.
