Will this shed off my seed on its own? Tried coaxing a little off but some Is firmly stuck. Yet the seed perfectly cracked off the leaves

Get it wet with a drop of water. Wait about 15 mins and do another drop. Wait a little more then see if it will slide off.

Put one small drop of tap water on the tip of it and after 5 minutes pinged open still attached to the end by one leaf but I suspect by morning it'll shed many thanks! It worked

Never rip off, some leaf could be still forming and you can rip off top, part or all head. Light mist, good humidity and in 3-5 days she will stay connected to one leaf if not fall totally. At that stage you can take few wooden stics or plastic and try to open shell.

I should come off on its own. I would give it a light spray with some water to help, but I would avoid actually pulling it off. Apparently when sowing seeds if you place it with the pointy side up it can't lift the seed head off on its own so it is better to sow it either pointy side down or on its side so it can use the friction from the soil to help pull it off

Yes, it will, Sometimes after seed germination, the shell leaves a "film" that can constrict. This could be from not planting the seed deep enough or this can also occur when the soil is too dry.
